Art Walk:Forgot to get the name of this

I don't know the creator or the name of this piece. However, it reminds of me Native Americans and Spanish culture. The obvious symbols is the Indian. The Cross represents the Spanish side when they brought Christianity to the Indians. In the past Hispanics have disowned their Indian side in favor of their Spanish roots. So, I suppose in a way, you can read this as the Indian roots taking over the Spanish side. However, I prefer that this is a merging of the two identity to create some sort of third identity.
